It's December what?

Back again...Finally finished quite a few things I rambled on about below. I have a ton to post about the little one.

Every day baby girl continues to amaze me with the way she sees the world around her. I've been home for a few days and I've been giving her some down time in the morning. Usually, Mr. Wonderful and I are flying out the door to get her to school and us to work so I decided to just relax, catch my breath...Let her sleep if she wants to while I drink my coffee and catch up on blogs and a few things around the house. I still take her into school but for a few hours instead of several. She loves it there. It has been really nice and both of us start the day relaxed and refreshed. Now, if I could just figure out how to install a giant tub in my master bath. That would really be something.

Must write words today

I've been posting a lot of pics the last few times since lately, I've been juggling like a crazy person life at work, with a baby, finding time with friends, maintaining some kind of a social life, visiting with family and loving my one and only Mr. Wonderful. There are so many things to do and only so much time. You've heard it all before, but this December, for me, has come faster than ever and it's now Dec. 5th (HAPPY BIRTHDAY COUSIN TANYA!!) and I'm nowhere near where I usually am this time of the year on coordinating my holiday shopping, volunteering and cards. Of course, this is not a complaint...This is just the way it is right now. I'm optimistic and know it'll be fine. Because I KNOW --- I will finish my family calendar. I will get my cards addressed and sent. (I do have the stamps! Got that out of the way before Thanksgiving!) I will buy presents for the people on my list even though I am not a fan of Christmas being all about presents. It will happen. Every year, it happens.

Baby Girl and Super Cute Nephew

She couldn't stop watching him and wanted to figure out what he was playing with. The toy he's got in front of him is for a younger kid but the minute she started playing with it, he was very interested in showing her how it's done.

Perfect Pumpkin People

So, today at the office I "helped" carve a pumpkin. Really, I dug the seeds and gross stringy stuff out of the middle of the pumpkin. It was, in fact, my first time doing this. Not sure how that happened since I love pumpkins. I love how they are orange. I love pumpkin pie. I love that seeing a pumpkin means that fall is here. Pumpkins are great. I got most of the innards out and then experienced pumpkin carvers suggested toasting the seeds. Okay. Really yummy.

We were carving a pumpkin to enter the office building carving contest. Yea, we did NOT win. I knew that it would be a long shot but enjoyed participating in this new pumpkin creating thing.

Next year, I think I'll try this again...at the office and at home.

Fall Festival @ Annunciation

So right down the street from us is a huge Catholic Church and over the weekend, they had their Annual Fall Festival. Mr. Wonderful and I decided to check it out so next year when the baby girl is running around, we know where to take her to have some fun. It was quite the operation. They had tons of food. I tried a Goop Dog for the first time. They raffled off a Hybrid car. There were funnel cakes which we avoided somehow. Phew! We watched a little football in their sports bar tent...What a great idea! Their craft area was ok. The main action was the kids area and the food.
Baby girl loved just people watching and being outside. It was a beautiful day so I'm glad Mr. Wonderful went even though he was recovering from his trip to Gainesville where the Gators beat LS WHO? Hahaha...
I love, love, love the fall even in Florida!
Worst thing that happened over the weekend...The Dolphins lost by one point. My brother forgot to tell Mr. Wonderful that they were going to lose AND baby girl didn't wear her cheerleading outfit. I think it would've helped 'em. Next week!

GO GATORS! (for Mr. Wonderful and Chaz)

Mr. Wonderful visited old stomping grounds with his friend Chaz.
Thankfully the Gators won! GooooOOoOOoOooooo Gators!!

Smid's Visit!

my official team cup that i made for myself. i know...i got skills!

my shoes...trying not to think about how
many feet have been in these before mine...FOCUS!

the birthday cake for our co-workers. one actually showed up but i'm always glad to celebrate a birthday and love when the cake is all themed up like the one above. :-) total cheese, i am.

action-packed fun going on!

Bowling with the Boys -- Ok. So above are some pics from Friday's Bowling Outing at work. The immediate above is my bowling team -- JA & RC are great guys but stinky bowlers or maybe it was just me and my lack of skills. There were four teams total and we came in 4th place so needless to say, we didn't win gas cards or anything. Maybe next time. I did, however, gain a knee injury which is absolutely ridiculous since it's freakin' BOWLING!
